During her visit back to the UK last week, Emily managed to fit in a trip to Moreton Equestrian for her and Washington’s first competition since the Nationals way back in September. It was a great opportunity to put into practice the tips gained from Emile Faurie at Excel Talent Training two days previously.
Washington was clearly happy to be back out competing and, as usual, put his all into his performance. There were a couple of slightly rusty moments from both horse and rider in the walk but in general they pulled out a confident and fluent test to win on 69.43% – a massive 5% ahead of second place!
