On Sunday, Fay Thomas’ Bright Time FST took part in his first Elementary at Crofton Manor and came away with yet another win on a score of 67.2%. ‘Harley’, as he is known at home, is proving himself to be a sensible and talented young horse which much presence. His progress has been astonishing and we look forward to seeing how he progresses through the levels.
Suilven, a five year old mare also owned by Fay Thomas, was also competing at Crofton, finishing third in the Novice 35 with 70.7%. This young horse has so much ability and just a small loss of balance from trying too hard in a medium trot cost her the win. Nevertheless, we were delighted with how she coped in a tricky test with lots of transitions in unexpected places, and her confidence in the arena could not be faulted.
