Emily Harris and Don Diabolo made an impression in their first international Grand Prix competitions outside the UK this summer.
At the prestigious Compiègne CDI4*, the past were one of only two British combinations selected to contend the Under 25’s Grand Prix class. They held their own against European Championship multi-medallists, finishing a creditable eighth in both the Intermediate II and the Under 25’s Grand Prix.
From there, they travelled South to Switzerland to contest the country’s first international dressage competition, held in Prangins on the banks of Lake Geneva. Again, Emily and ‘Max’ put in some impressive performances, walking away with three podium finished and their first international score over seventy percent.
