Alex Harris and Judy Sharrock’s Oldenburg gelding, Don Diabolo, made his Grand Prix debut at Sparsholt College on 24th August. He put in an impressive performance, showing his clear ability for the piaffe and passage and excelling in the difficult lateral work, to gain an outstanding mark of 71% from judge Gill Drew.
Suilven, a six year old mare owned by Fay Thomas and bred by Reay Campbell, came a creditable 3rd in the Elementary class and demonstrated beautiful swing, cadence and elasticity throughout the test.
